Police plan increased patrols after recent robberies

Police in Mishawaka have identified several teenagers involved in recent robberies and are interviewing them to hold everyone accountable. They also plan to increase patrols in the area.
Some neighbors say it’s time for homeowners to step up and help each other.
A resident, Matt Patterson, shared, “I have a young one at home, and I want to ensure he’s safe. We all need to work together, look out for each other, and have each other’s backs. That seems to be happening less often, but I hope it improves.”
Police also urge residents to report suspicious activity immediately and not confront anyone unless their safety is at risk.
