Bristol residents oppose proposed data center

Some Bristol residents have voiced strong opposition to a proposed data center on County Road 23, at the current Wilhelm farm site.
Backers of the project spent nearly three hours, last week, addressing concerns at a crowded Bristol Town Council meeting.
The data center can only be built if the land is rezoned from A-1 agriculture to M-1 manufacturing by the Bristol Town Council. However, the company for which the data center is being built remains unknown.
The facility would cover up to 1.2 million square feet on 250 acres, use Bristol’s water and sewer, and create 125-150 jobs with a $1 billion investment.
While the Elkhart County Planning Department approved the rezoning, residents are concerned about noise and the impact on water and electricity infrastructure. A public comment meeting is set for Sep.19.

DO NOT Say Yes until you know who they are and they put up money to expand the sewer and water system. Their proper taxes will not be enough to pay it forward. OR did they get an incentive to build here?
