A local foundation is calling for change within the South Bend Community School Corporation.
On Wednesday, the JAX Aspire Foundation held a news conference outside the old school administration building in downtown South Bend to launch their new “Save the Youth Michiana” campaign.
The campaign, started in August, is dedicated to Isaiah Walton Davis, a 20-year-old who was shot and killed by an 18-year-old in South Bend this summer.
