A robbery at James Smoke Shop landed a woman four years with the Indiana Department of Corrections.

The robbery happened in May of last year when a store associate says two individuals entered the store and a woman, Lorain Childs, grabbed a vape from the front of the register, tucked it into her shirt and then left.

According to the Goshen News, the associate told the woman that if she returned it then she would not call the police, but when she went inside to get her phone to take photos of the vehicle the two were driving, the woman followed her and returned a different vape than the one she took.

Surveillance videos were put on social media and the two individuals were identified.

Childs will serve her time on probation and work release after pleading guilty to theft and battery.
