A man accused of molesting a girl has been sentenced to 25 years.

25 year old Ren Crider of Goshen was charged with eight counts of child molestation after pleading guilty to four counts.

Documents say a report was received by Goshen police in March of 2023 that claimed that a 16-year-old Kentucky girl had been sexually abused when she was 13.

The girl had reportedly told her mother that the assaults had been happening since she was seven years old and that in 2020 she was romantically involved with Crider and that he forced himself on her multiple times that summer.

However, Crider told police that on three separate occasions the victim had forced herself on him and then told the victim not to tell anyone. He was sentenced by plea agreement to three of the counts against him.
