Anthony Richardson led the Indianapolis Colts to a touchdown on their opening drive and the Colts went on to beat the Cincinnati Bengals in their preseason finale Thursday night.
The Colts went on a 12-play, 80-yard scoring drive to begin the game. Richardson capped it off with a 9-yard touchdown pass to Adonai Mitchell.
After a Bengals punt, though, things got difficult for Richardson. He threw an interception that was returned 14 yards for a touchdown by Jordan Battle.
Richardson finished the night completing 8 of 14 passes for 86 yards with a touchdown and an interception.
Colts quarterback Jason Bean completed all four of his passes for 52 yards and had a rushing touchdown.
The Colts also got a 40-yard rushing touchdown from Demetric Felton.
The Colts played some of their starters while the Bengals did not play their starters.
The regular season for both of these teams begins September 8.
