Nevada felon sentenced for firearm possession in South Bend

A man from Nevada has been sentenced in U.S. District Court in South Bend after pleading guilty to being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm.
According to court documents, Fort Wayne Police officers were sent to a fast-food restaurant on the report of a man with a gun. Joseph Quinones, 31, of Reno, was so upset he couldn’t order lunch items during the breakfast hours, he displayed a firearm and threatened employees.
Police apprehended Quinones near the restaurant and with the loaded firearm.
Quinones has a prior felony conviction, as such, he is banned from possessing the firearm.
He’s been ordered to serve to 150 months.
