A 69-year-old woman has died after sustaining injuries during a home invasion earlier this month.

Connie Bailey died on Friday at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne after the August 3 home invasion.

The 40-year-old suspect, David Campbell of Plymouth, was recently arrested after a search warrant was executed at the Red Rock Inn in Plymouth.

He’s currently in custody and is facing 13 charges.

An autopsy for Bailey is scheduled at the Allen County Coroner’s Office, and the investigation is ongoing.
