Goshen man airlifted to hospital after crash

A Goshen man was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries after a crash at County Roads 17 and 40.
The collision happened around 1:30 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 12, when Elkhart County Sheriff’s investigators say the 62-year-old man driving a pick-up truck was traveling westbound and failed to stop at the intersection and crashed into the passenger side of a car driven by a Goshen woman.
The man who police say caused the crash suffered a head injury and was airlifted to Memorial Hospital in South Bend.
The woman driving the other vehicle was taken to Goshen Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
