Man pleads guilty to leaving scene of deadly accident

Documents say a man plead guilty to leaving the scene of a deadly accident in Mishawaka.

They say Robert Blankenship pleaded guilty to the charge after hitting and killing 19-year-old Varinder Singh in February.

Blankenship has been sentenced to eight years, with four years in jail, two years on home detention and two years of probation. His driver’s license was also suspended for six years.
