A new study placed Indiana as the fourth-most at-risk state when it comes to deaths involving school buses.

Research by Bader Scott showed 6.05 deaths per million in the state between 2017 and 2022.

The majority of the deaths were drivers or passengers of other vehicles, with only a few being drivers or passengers of the buses themselves.
