A Benton Harbor man has been sentenced to 15 years in prison for kidnapping and brandishing a firearm in connection to the theft of more than 100 guns from a Dunham’s Sports store.
Federal prosecutors say Dontrell Nance, 25, and his brother, Darnell Bishop, 33, kidnapped the manager from outside his own home using a pistol and coaxed him to give reveal the code for the store’s alarm. Bishop loaded the guns in two coolers.
Bishop will be sentenced in October.
