Three Rivers man, passenger hospitalized after crash on M-40

A Three Rivers man and his passenger were hospitalized after he lost control of his truck and trailer, went off the road, down a hill, and rolled end over end.

The collision happened around 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 3, on M-40 South of Bald Hill St. in Newberg Township.

The investigation shows the 31-year-old driver struck a guardrail before going off the road.

The driver was airlifted to Bronson Hospital in Kalamazoo. His passenger was taken to Three Rivers E.R.

Factors that led to the crash remain under investigation.
