(95.3 MNC)
A man from Rochester was killed in a crash in Fulton Township.
The collision happened around 4 p.m. on Tuesday, July 2, near the 4900 block of North Old U.S. 31 in Rochester.
The preliminary crash investigation indicates that Quinton Sayger, 23, from Rochester, was driving a 1998 Buick Lesabre heading southbound. For an unknown reason, the Buick traveled left of center when a 2011 Dodge Avenger traveling northbound collided with it, causing both vehicles to come to rest.
Quinton died at the scene.
The driver of the Dodge, a 37-year-old Plymouth man, was airlifted to an area hospital for serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
At this time, neither the consumption of alcoholic beverages nor narcotics are suspected of contributing to this crash, according to Indiana State Police.
