UPDATE: The family of the children has been located.

ORIGINAL STORY: The South Bend Police Department is actively attempting to locate the parents/guardians of these three children.

The children were found by officers around 2 a.m. on Wednesday, July 3, near Muessel Grove Park on the city’s northwest side.

The children were also found with a puppy.

Anybody with information about the children is asked to call 911.
