Motorcyclist hospitalized after colliding with deer in Cass County

A Cassopolis man on his motorcycle is recovering after colliding with a deer.

The collision happened around 10:30 p.m. on Wednesday, June 26, in the area of Fox Street and North O’Keefe Road in LaGrange Townsip.

The 52-year-old man was traveling southbound when the deer entered the roadway. The man lost control of his motorcycle, which went fown on it’s side and traveled for another 500 yards.

The motorcyclist was transported to South Bend Memorial Hospital for minor injuries sustained in the crash.
