Man recovering after South Bend shooting

A man injured in a shooting on South Bend’s west side is recovering.
Police received a report of shots fired around 8:45 a.m. on Saturday, June 15, in the 100 block of North Sheridan Street.
Upon arrival, they discovered a vehicle collision.
Later, police located a shooting victim in the 1200 block of West Colfax Avenue.
The victim was taken to the hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
So far, there is no word of any arrests.
