The heat starts on Wednesday. Basically, we flip the switch to summer for Wednesday through Saturday, with temps in the 80s and higher humidity leading to slight chances of rain most days, in the form of showers and some scattered thunderstorms. We’ll also have partly sunny skies, Wednesday, with highs near 85 and just a slight chance of rain. The hottest day this week will be Thursday with highs nearing 90.
Our next best chance for showers and storms looks to arrive late Thursday. At this time, our main concern for these storms will be gusty winds.
The heat is on even more next week – expect highs to reach near 90 by Monday! With the heat and humidity at the start of next week, we could feel more like the upper 90s at times.
Wednesday: Sunny, with a high near 86.
Thursday: Mostly sunny and hot, with a high near 90. There is a 40% chance of scattered showers and thunderstorms.
Friday: Sunny, with a high near 81.
Saturday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 84.
Sunday: Sunny and hot, with a high near 91.
