Downtown South Bend’s Summer Fitness Series will be returning to the Gridiron this weekend.

Downtown partners with local fitness organizations and instructors to provide the free summer fitness program every Saturday morning.

They’ll have yoga at 8 a.m., Zumba at 9 a.m. and a variety of other fitness opportunities at 10 a.m. such as Boot Camp, Power Core, Barre and more. Participants are encouraged to bring canned goods, non-perishables or personal items to donate to the Food Bank of Northern Indiana.

The Summer Fitness Series runs from June 8 through August 31 and is open to everyone regardless of ages or skill levels, but they say to dress in appropriate clothing and footwear.

Bottled water and hand sanitizer will be available for participants, but mat rentals will not. No advance registration is required.
