A study conducted by Ball State’s Center for Business and Economic Research revealed that Indiana’s Regional Cities Initiative helped to create nearly $1.6 Billion in economic activity.
The RCI program was launched in 2015 with the goal of enhancing economic growth in cities around Indiana.
Key statistics from the study’s findings are that 8,000 new residents are expected to move to RCI counties, and have contributed to a cumulative GDP of $37 million per year.
