A man accused of robbing his friend pleaded guilty on Thursday.

The Goshen News says 19-year-old Christian Leiter allegedly attacked and robbed a friend in August of 2019.

Police say the teenage victim told them that they had been at the home of Dylan Simon, also accused in the attack, when an argument began over cash and medication that was missing.

Simon and Leiter allegedly lured the victim into a wooded area and punched, kicked and stomped on him. Neighbors were able to provide a video of the suspects, and Leiter initially gave officers a fake name and birthday since he knew he had an active warrant.

However, both  Leiter and Simon were charged with  robbery resulting in injury. Leiter’s sentencing is scheduled for June 27.
