Yakym votes in favor of Israel Security Assistance Support Act

Congressman Rudy Yakym has voted in favor of the Israel Security Assistance Support Act.

The Second District Representative said Thursday that the vote was necessary because the president is “shamefully putting his own political interests and his re-election campaign above his responsibilities as Commander-In-Chief.”

The legislation, House Resolution #8369, condemns the Biden Administration’s hold on arms delivery to Israel, and urges the swift delivery of Congressionally approved defense articles and weapons. It also withholds funds from the Defense and state Departments and the National Security Council until the articles are delivered.

What responsibility does the US Commander-in-Chief have to a foreign country, anyway?

We are too broke to keep sending money everywhere in the world.
