A South Bend man accused of armed robbery has acknowledged his trial date set in November.

That’s according to The Goshen News. 31-year-old LaSean Green is charged with a Level 3 felony count of Armed Robbery after allegedly holding up and injuring a man after a Facebook Marketplace sale went wrong.

The two men reportedly met at the Cabin Coffee Co. in February of 2020 where the victim planned to purchase two phones from Green. However, The Goshen News says after getting out of the car, Green demanded the money and pistol-whipped the victim while a second suspect helped take the money.

A jury trial is scheduled for November 18.
