Coloma woman survives apparent attempted murder-suicide

A Coloma woman survived what police are saying was an attempted murder-suicide.
Officers responded to a welfare check on Becht Road Wednesday night. Berrien County 911 dispatchers informed them that a husband possibly shot his wife and then himself inside the house.
According to ABC 57 News, the dispatcher told officers that the caller had said that their dad shot their mom and then himself.
Authorities arrived on scene to find a 32-year-old woman who had been shot and a 41-year-old man dead from what looked to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
The woman was taken to the hospital and is currently in stable condition.
