Five Star Life faced a setback on Wednesday when a fire broke out in a building at their Innovative Learning Campus.

The fire broke out at their property, Summit, in Union, Michigan in a building called the Life Building which is under construction.

The non-profit organization says that the incident happened around 10 a.m. and resulted in substantial damage.

No person or animal was harmed in the fire, and executive director Aubrey Danielson says they are determined to continue building incredible facilities that offer transformational programs for the kids they serve.

Five Star Life is working with authorities to determine the cause and extent of the fire damage and to create plans for recovery.
