Northern Indiana Regional Development Authority submits application for READI 2.0 funds

The Northern Indiana Regional Development Authority has submitted its application for READI 2.0 funds to the Indiana Economic Development Corp. on behalf of the South Bend – Elkhart region, consisting of Elkhart, Marshall, and St. Joseph counties.
The group is pursuing the maximum $75 million allotment in READI funds.
Their plan for the money is projected to generate over $2 billion in direct economic activity over the next six years for the region.
The IEDC is expected to announce regional recipients in April.
