Two people were arrested in Elkhart this past weekend, with one person who allegedly had substances that tested positive for fentanyl

It happened early Saturday morning, Jan. 27, when police say the driver of a Ford Explorer committed a traffic violation on S. Main Street and Lusher Avenue.

The vehicle was pulled over. Drug paraphernalia was found on the driver.

Jaden Tinsley, 21, and Clayton Reed, 25, were both taken to the Elkhart County Jail where they were acting suspiciously.

Officers say that they checked a trash can at the jail, to find a large bag of pills and a small bag of white powder, according to our reporting partners at ABC 57.

Tinsley and Reed were booked on a slew of charges, including possession of drugs.

Wow! No beating-around-the-bush here!
…I guess they call it like they see it.

Just the sentence before they listed their names, only to refer to them as “trash” the next.
The Officers seemed quick to form an opinion.

Do better!
