Registration is now open for the Spring 2024 Citizens Police Academy.

The academy has only been held once a year, but due to growing interest from the community, the South Bend Police Department will be holding the first ever Spring session.

The session is set to run from March 5 to May 7 with a break during the first week of April.

Classes are on Tuesday evenings, teaching lessons from various units including Patrol, SWAT Team, Bomb Squad, K9 Unit, Communications and more.
