A teenager has been sentenced in Elkhart County court for a drug deal gone wrong.

Correon Meux, 16, has been sentenced to 60 years in the Indiana Department of Corrections.

It was October of 2022 when police say Logan Nussbaum, 18, was shot in the 1200 block of Burr Oak Place, crashed his vehicle, and died at the scene.

During the sentencing hearing, it was found that the shooting happened after the drug deal turned into an armed robbery.

Meux pleaded guilty to the charge of murder last fall.
