Woman pleads guilty for crash that killed her son

A woman pleaded guilty for a crash that killed her son.

It happened on December 20, 2021 on County Road 42 and State Road 19.

The mom, 35-year-old Krista Partlow, was driving a Subaru, which got caught under the trailer of a truck. Partlow and her 10 year old son, Noah Murray, were taken to the hospital.

Murray was later pronounced dead. After a chemical test, Delta-9 THC was found in Partlow’s blood.

She was charged with causing death when operating a motor vehicle.

The Goshen News reports that during her plea hearing Partlow said she was a delivery driver and doing her job during the crash. Her sentencing is schedule for February 15.
