The Indiana Department of Transportation has 5 new proposals to modify the U.S 31 and State Road 10 Intersection.

They say that from 2010 to 2019 there have been 81 crashes at the intersection. Most of those were deadly. The Hoosier state is trying to figure out what to do.

That’s where the five options come in. WSBT reports that it would involve changing the way the two roadways intersect with each other, making it an interchange.

All five current proposals would close off access to Dewey Street and 17th Road off U.S 31. That would limit access to some businesses. The McDonald’s, BP Gas Station, and Subway off the intersection would not be relocated.
