Niles Scream Park brings in over $153 thousand for local organizations

The 50th year of the Niles Scream Park resulted in more than $153,000 dollars raised for 77 local organizations.
The park’s organizers say those proceeds benefitted schools and service organizations, as well as six different college scholarships for high school seniors.
WSBT reports that the Scream Park has donated more than 2 and a half million dollars since 1996.
This year’s 22-night run saw more than 450 volunteers putting in over 24 thousand hours of work, and the park saw its 2.6 millionth visitor.
