Elkhart man found dead inside car

An Elkhart man reported missing was found dead inside a car.
Officers got a call on Tuesday night, Nov. 14,  about the 42-year-old man who had not reported to work as scheduled and had not returned home.
Just before 4 a.m. on Wednesday morning, police found the man in a car in the parking lot in the 26-hundred block of Hively Avenue, dead from a an apparent gunshot wound.
The homicide unit is leading the investigation.
