70+ citations issued for underage drinking at Cheers Pub in Roseland

More than 70 citations have been issued for underage drinking at Cheers Pub after a surprise compliance check.

The operation, on Thursday, Nov. 2, involved various police departments, including Indiana State Excise Police, St. Joseph County Police, and Walkerton Police.

Customers as young as 17 were found consuming alcohol, according to Roseland Police.

More than 50 fake IDs were confiscated, and police reports were filed for potential charges. Roseland’s police chief pledged to continue compliance checks, syaing he has zero tolerance for serving alcohol to minors.

Pub needs to be closed It is the law to have trained staff to check ID’s

At least they weren’t carrying Hamas and Palestinian flags (is there a difference) and blocking IN 933. The kids were thirsty.
