South Bend-Elkhart area seeking funding to finance region-wide improvements

The South Bend-Elkhart region is seeking to enhance the community by undertaking some region-wide improvements.
Readi 2.0 is providing $500 million statewide, and St. Joe, Elkhart, and Marshall Counties are seeking a portion of this funding to finance new projects in the area.
The region hopes to receive $75 million for the enhancement of quality of life, place and opportunity, and growth of the community.
The Readi 2.0 Program is allocating $500 million across Indiana to support projects aimed at enhancing the state.
