Bethel University to host 34th annual campus-wide Service Day

Bethel’s 34th annual campus-wide Service Day will happen this week.

Classes before 6 p.m. are cancelled for students, faculty and staff to serve together throughout Michiana on Tuesday, September 26.

It all starts at 9:15 a.m. in the Everest-Rohrer Chapel on campus, where participants will get into groups and head out to volunteer at more than 20 local sites.

Students will be bussed to work sites including the Food Bank of Northern Indiana, Ronald McDonald House Charities of Michiana, the Unity Gardens, St. Margaret’s House and many more.

The Service Day will end around 1 p.m. when volunteers return to the Dining Commons for lunch.
