Notre Dame Fighting Irish falls to Ohio State Buckeyes

The 9th ranked Notre Dame Fighting Irish lost in the last minute to the 6th ranked Ohio State Buckeyes on Saturday, 17 – 14.

The game was off to a slow start as the only points put up in the first half was a field goal for Ohio State.

After halftime both teams started to pick up speed as they each scored a touchdown in the the third quarter. Notre Dame pulled ahead off a touchdown pass to Rico Flores Jr with under nine minutes to play in the fourth, but Ohio State would march down field and find the end zone just as regular time expired.

This was Notre Dame’s firs loss of the season.

Now sitting at 4 – 1 the team travels to face Duke on Saturday, September 30th at 7:30 p.m.
