Decatur man hurt in motorcycle crash in Volinia Township

A Decatur man was hurt after he lost control of his motorcycle.

The collision happened around 11 a.m. on Thursday, Sep. 21, near the intersection of Lawrence and McKenzie in Volinia Township.

According to deputies, the 67-year-old man was traveling southbound on Lawrence Road when he rode over some gravel.

That caused the man to lose control of his motorcycle.

He ended up coming to rest in a grassy area off the side of the road.

The man was taken, via ambulance, to Bronson Hospital.
