North Carolina man sentenced after pleading guilty to drug charges in South Bend

A North Carolina man has been sentenced to 168 months in prison after he pled guilty to possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine in U.S. District Court in South Bend.
It was January of 2021 when police executed a traffic stop and found Keith Wigfall, 57, behind the wheel. Officers recovered more than $47,000 in cash as well as controlled substances.
A search of his home resulted in the seizure of over 1.5 kilograms of methamphetamine, 9.5 kilograms of marijuana, fentanyl, cocaine, morphine, 9 other types of controlled substances, 3 firearms, and $30,000 cash.
