Three people were hurt after a chain-reaction rear-end collision in Elkhart County.
The crash happened around 3 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 14, on County Road 7 and Edwards Road when a 36-year-old Elkhart man driving a Nissan SUV failed to stop behind the traffic that was waiting for a vehicle to make a turn.
He crashed into the car in front. In all, four cars were damaged.
The driver who police say caused the crash suffered a laceration to his hand.
He was cited for following too closely.
