Pressure cooker recall after 61 people report burns

(CPSC)

There’s been another product recall issued involving the potential for dangerous burns.

Fast on the heels of another candle recall, Sensio Incorporated recalled about 860 thousand Bella brand electric and stovetop pressure cookers. They were made in China and sold at JC Penney’s, Kohl’s, Lowe’s, Macy’s and Target stores as well as online at Amazon from September 2015 through September 2020.

The recall involves Bella, Bella Pro Series, Crux and Cooks electric pressure cookers — as well as Bella Stovetop Pressure Cookers.

Sensio has received more than 5 dozen reports of burn injuries, including second- and third-degree burns.
