A Culver woman is facing multiple charges after allegedly strangling another person.
She’s facing one count of battery with moderate bodily injury, possession of methamphetamine, possession of a controlled substance and possession of paraphernalia.
The Marshall County Sheriff’s Department says police responded to a call for battery in progress at a residence, and after investigation, officers found the suspect, Ashley Humes, as well as meth, controlled substances and drug paraphernalia in her car.
The range of the penalties may land her between six months and two-and-a-half years behind bars.
