An Elkhart County robbery suspect’s trial will continue to April of next year.

Jordan Cole was originally facing a battery charge from February of 2021, but authorities are also accusing him of being involved in a string of robberies that occurred in March of 2019.

Police say two men, one of which they believe is Cole, shot a 45-year-old man while robbing a KFC and a Burger King on the same day.

Warrants for Cole and the other suspect had been issued in June, and Cole was arrested in August. His trial has now moved from August 21st to April 1st of next year.
