Fulton County Sheriff Travis Heishman is urging parents to monitor their children’s social media accounts after a Logansport man was arrested on Tuesday.

Police say 66-year-old William Brazzle had been engaging in sexually inappropriate messages with a 13-year-old girl.

After the parent found the messages on their child’s phone, officers continued the conversation to work to identify the man.

Brazzle agreed to meet whom he thought was the girl at a park.

However, when Brazzle arrived at the park, he was taken into custody without incident.

Brazzle was booked into the Fulton County Detention Center.

The Sheriff’s Office is warning parents to watch for predator behaviors and to monitor social media and messaging sites that their children may be on.
