Andretti Global has announced plans to establish its universal motorsports headquarters in central Indiana, creating up to 500 new jobs by the end of 2026.
It’s a $200 million investment to build a modern, 575,000-square-foot facility in Fishers. The new development will serve as the base of operations for the team’s current NTT IndyCar series, Indy Lights and International Motor Sports Association programs, as well as other future racing initiatives.
Pending approval of the Indiana Economic Development Corporation board of directors, the Corporation will commit an investment in Andretti Autosport of up to $19 million in the form of conditional tax credits.

Deals like this should be banned nationwide. Not only is it a case of the government picking winners and losers (do you think your startup would get $19M in tax credit based on name recognition?) but it’s also massively unfair to existing businesses as they shoulder the tax burden for the new favorites.
