Southwest Michigan is celebrating the arrival of fall by reminding people that it’s one of the best seasons for hiking every year.
The DNR and County Parks around the state invite nature-lovers and hikers to enjoy the miles of trails of Southwest Michigan on their own, or check out one of the scenic trails with one of their weekday morning group walks. Those last an hour or 90 minutes, and give hikers the chance to follow a Naturalist on the trails and explore the paths while getting a good two or so miles of exercise.
