Humane Society of St. Joseph County waiving adoption fees for most pets

(Photo supplied/Humane Society Of St. Joseph County)
The Humane Society of St. Joseph County is waiving adoption fees for most pets for the rest of this month to help find them “forever homes.”
They say it’s because adoptions slow down in summer.
Adoptions for puppies and kittens under six monthsare excluded from the waived fees, as the Humane Society says they get adopted quickly.
Anybody wanting to adopt must first schedule a vet appointment.
