Gov. Mike Pence pleased with Indiana’s employment outlook

Governor Mike Pence spoke on social media Friday about Indiana’s new employment numbers.

He pointed out Indiana’s unemployment rate remained consistent in September at 4.5 percent. That marks a 3.9 percent drop since January of 2013. Last month was the 15th month in a row that Indiana has recorded private-sector employment above the previous peak level in March 2000.

He calls the numbers a demonstration that once again, the right strategies are in place right now for Indiana.
