The victim reported returning home and pulling her vehicle into her garage, according to Sgt. Chris Snyder with the Elkhart Police Department.

While in the garage the suspect, Bradley Deskins, 18, Ligonier, appeared and was carrying a hammer, Snyder stated.

Deskins held the hammer above his head and demanded the victim’s money, Snyder stated.
