Search continues for suspects who robbed 1st Source Bank in Elkhart

Three men got away with cash after robbing the 1st Source Bank in the 2000 block of East Bristol Street.

The armed robbery happened just before 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, July 19, according to Sgt. Chris Snyder with the Elkhart Police Department.

Three suspects entered the bank displaying handguns and demanded the money. After being handed an undisclosed amount of cash, the suspects left the bank, Snyder said.

The suspects were last seen running north through the parking lot.

There were no injuries during the robbery.

The suspects were described as black males wearing masks and dark clothing, according to Snyder.
